💢 Day 1: Saigon – Ben Tre (L/D/Cycling 40 km)
Welcome to Saigon for our adventure cycling to Cu Chi tunnels with an hour transfer toward Ho Mon district where we fit the Mt.bicycle for cycling 27 km to Ben Dinh, explore the legendary of tunnels and learn about this amazing underground village.
Lunch and transfer for our in-van rest to Long An for afternoon cycling backroads of the dragon region to My Tho which is a lovely Mekong Riverside Town. Overnight at Cuu Long 3*hotel My Tho: http://cuulonghotel.tiengiangtourist.com/ or similar standard.
💢 Day 2: My Tho – Tra Vinh – Can Tho (B/L/D/ Cycling 57 km)
You will have a chance to see morning activities at a local place in the town of Ben Tre before you have breakfast. Today’s cycling on back roads mostly in the remote villages off the beaten track and crosses many small branches of the Mekong River by local ferries in Ben Tre to Tra Vinh. Your lunch will be served in the outskirts of Tra Vinh town. In the afternoon, continue wandering by bike into the lush countryside of fruit orchards to Vinh Long and have an hour’s transfer to Can Tho in the late afternoon. 💢 Day 3: Can Tho – Sadec – Cao Lanh (B/L/D/Cycling 60 km)
Today, you will see the floating market before you have a bicycle ride to Sadec town. In the morning, you ride past the sweet potato field and cycle along small natural rivers to the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le in Sadec. In the afternoon, you will have an opportunity to admire many flower gardens, ornamental plants, nursery gardens, and bonsai trees on your way of cycling to Cao Lanh city. 💢 Day 4: Cao Lanh – My Luong Chau Doc (B/L/ Cycling 50 km+)
Today you will discover the lowland of Doing Thap province. You can see locals living on stilt houses and the last rice harvests usually happen before the flood season. The highlight of today is to stop at the monastery which was built after the French invasion. It was inaugurated in 1877 and was three years older than the Notre Dame Cathedral in Saigon. 💢 Day 5: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh by high speeds boat (B/ No cycling)
You will be picked up and taken to the high-speed boat station at 7:30 am. Enjoy beautiful scenery on the Mekong River from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh city. End of Cycling Saigon to Phnom Penh 5 days.
