Day 1: Saigon – Cai Be – Vĩnh Long (L, D/Cycling 50 km+)
Your cycling adventure begins as you leave the bustling city of Saigon and head towards Cai Be. After a transfer to Long An, you’ll start cycling towards My Tho. The picturesque countryside and local villages you’ll pass on the way give you a glimpse of authentic rural life in the Mekong Delta region.
As you arrive in Cai Lay, you’ll continue your cycling journey to Cai Be. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to take a relaxing boat trip along the Mekong River. Enjoy the scenic views and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the waterways. Eventually, you’ll reach your charming homestay in Vinh Long. This comfortable and welcoming accommodation will provide you with a taste of local hospitality.

Day 2: Vinh Long – Sa Dec – Xeo Quyt Forest – Saigon (B, L/Cycling 50 km+)
Wake up to the peaceful atmosphere of Vinh Long and start your day with a delightful breakfast. Afterward, you’ll hop onto a boat that will take you toward Sa Dec, located on the left bank of the Mekong River. This part of the journey allows you to appreciate the beauty of nature in the morning.
Upon arrival in Sa Dec, you’ll be cycling detour to the famous Sa Dec flower homeland. This area is known for its vibrant floral displays that create a mesmerizing scene. Visit the “L’Amant House,” which gained recognition from its appearance in the film “The Lover.” This historical house offers a glimpse into the life and romance of the past.
Continuing your cycling adventure, you’ll make your pathway to Cao Lanh for a well-deserved lunch break. Rejuvenated and refueled, you’ll continue your journey towards Xeo Quyt Forest. This destination holds historical significance as it was once a Viet Cong base during the Vietnam War. Explore the forest and learn about the role it played during that tumultuous time.
After your visit to Xeo Quyt Forest, you’ll be driven back to Saigon, concluding our two-day cycling adventure through the Mekong Delta. The memories and experiences from this trip will stay with you for a lifetime.
